Contemporary courtyard garden designs for property developer in Solihull, West Midlands, UK
These small contemporary courtyard gardens were designed in response to planning requirements for the redevelopment of a detached house into two properties. One of the most important features of this Solihull development was the provision of off road parking for each new residence.
Although each town garden was a similar size, our garden designer Alice Bowe took great care to give each scheme their own character whilst still remaining family characteristics as part of the same development.
Low maintenance garden courtyards capture the sunshine for entertaining or relaxing in private. The planting scheme is also designed to be drought tolerant with a structural backbone of box and small garden trees – complimented by wide colourful herbaceoous borders that change with the season.
When developing property, employing a garden designer to draw up a good landscape design scheme is a clever investment. It is estimated by the Institute of Chartered Surveyors that a well appointed, creatively designed garden can increase the value of your property by up to 10%.
